    The most popular tourist attraction in Hong Kong. The views from the Peak are breathtaking, offering (on a clear day) a stunning panorama of the city.

    There are beautiful walking trails that wind through the lush tropical forest of Victoria Peak Garden. The Peak Tower (an architectural icon in its own right) has a 360° viewing platform and offers a variety of restaurants and shops.

    Get to The Peak on the Peak Tram - originally built in 1888. This 7-minute scenic ride offers a uniquely spectacular perspective of the city.

    A 310-acre amusement park with a fabulous range of rides and adventures in four themed parks (Main Street USA, Fantasyland, Advertureland and Tomorrowland). This is where the big kid in us all can be unleashed!

    Located on Lantau Island. The best way to get there is on the MRT from Central (30 minutes). A supporter of the LGBT community, HK Disneyland hosts 'Gay Day Disneyland' every year.

    Big Buddha at Po Lin Monastery

    At 34 metres high, this is the world's tallest outdoor seated bronze Buddha image. It is located at the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island.

    The Monastery dates from 1924 and features a number of interesting temples and other structures. The Big Buddha (Tian Tan Buddha) is open to the general public between 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

    The quickest way to get to Po Lin Monastery is via the Ngong Ping cable car outside the Tung Chung MTR Station (25 minutes and an additional 10 minutes' walk to the Monastery).

    A Symphony of Lights

    The world's largest permanent light and laser show featuring 44 buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour. A Symphony of Lights show is held every night at 8 pm and lasts about 14 minutes.

    Nan Lian Garden

    Opened in 2006, this beautiful Chinese garden from the Tang Dynasty style is located in Diamond Hill, Kowloon. It covers an area of 3.5 hectares and features hills, rocks and wooden structures.

    Nan Lian Garden offers a peaceful retreat from the city. Open daily from 7am to 9pm. Free entry.

    Hong Kong Museum of History, opened in 1975, showcases Hong Kong's historical cultural heritage through 8 galleries with over 4,000 exhibits, enhanced with special audio-visual and lighting effects.

    The exhibition tells the story from the Devonian period 400 million years ago and concludes with the reunification of Hong Kong with China in 1997.

    Located Cheong Wan Road in Kowloon.
