Florianopolis Gay Beaches

Praia Mole or Mole Beach is an idyllic beach bookended by striking rock formations. It isn't exclusively a gay beach but it draws a big gay crowd - especially during carnival. Although "Praia Mole" is not totally gay, the area around "Bar do Deca" is exclusively gay. Also, and more importantly, right next to Praia Mole there is a trail that leads to "Praia da Galleta" which is a nudist beach (you don't have to be naked, only if you want to) and we may consider the beach 80% gay. A lot of gay guys go cruising there.

The gay bar Bar do Deca is located on this beach. You're always going to find a gay crowd around the beach outside that bar.
