Brighton Lesbian Bars

The Actors is housed in one of Brighton's oldest and quirkiest public houses, formerly known as the Marlborough Pub & Theatre. This pub has a long-established connection with the LGBT community and remains one of the most popular gay bars/pubs in Brighton.

The Actors is serving pizza as well as a selection of craft beers. In the theatre upstairs and in the main area of the pub there are regular events and performances taking place. Open mic nights, poetry readings, DJs, and more.

Lilith’s Lair is an intimate, sapphic-only sensual party series in Brighton, crafted for queer, bisexual, pansexual, and bi-curious women and femmes seeking connection. No men are allowed to attend these parties. Hosted in a discreet multi-floor venue in Kemp Town, each event blends soft lighting, sensual music, and curated spaces—including kink-friendly rooms and beds—to foster exploration, intimacy, and play.

The evening begins with guided icebreakers and consent discussions, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees. Guests are encouraged to express themselves authentically, whether through kinky attire or comfortable wear, with nudity embraced for those who choose. With a guest list capped at around 50 vetted individuals, Lilith’s Lair offers a uniquely inclusive and affirming space for sapphic sensuality in Brighton.​

Café by day, bar by night. Legends serves tea & coffee and light meals during the day on a terrace with sea views. In the evening, the bar kicks off, and stays open late into the night.

On Friday and Saturday, Legends gets busier a bit later than other bars in Brighton (around 11pm), though we prefer arriving earlier, as the bar service was super fast and finding a seat was easier.
