The most famous beaches are Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas, but a few lesser-known coves are also worth a visit. Given Benidorm's large gay community, these beaches attract a good number of gay sunbathers all year around, but are not "gay beaches" in the same sense as, for example, Playa de la Bossa in Sitges. The "gayest" local beach is Raco del Conill.
