Centralhjørnet

Centralhjørnet is very reminiscent of a London pub to my mind with an L-shaped bar, tables on both sides, and a handful of slot machines on the way to the loos. The atmosphere was convivial, the decor fun, and the place fairly packed. And then there was the smoking. This was my first Copenhagen bar, so it might well be the norm here… but why? I want to like this venue, but I will not be returning until I hear that they have relegated smoking to outdoor areas only. Now to air my clothes…

I came here on a Sunday night and it was pretty quiet. The crowd was a little older, but all gay. I didn't see any shows going on, but it was also in September. Staff was friendly. The bar has many tables that are all wrapped around the central bar.
