    Nottingham is located in central England, and it's something of a hidden gem. It's linked to the folkloric tale of Robin Hood, and it's the home of Alan Moore, the iconic graphic novelist. The city has a young, lively atmosphere thanks to its two universities, creating great nightlife and a music scene that's produced some of Britain's biggest bands. 

    Nottingham has a solid LGBTQ+ community centered around Broad Street, the city's official queer area complete with a rainbow crossings and gay bars.
