What to expect at Boston Pride?

While 2026 specifics haven’t been announced yet, previous editions have featured a lively parade through downtown, beginning near Copley Square and ending at Boston Common, followed by a full day of festivities. The celebration usually includes a family-friendly concert and festival on Boston Common and a 21+ block party at City Hall Plaza, the biggest Pride event in New England.

Boston held its first Pride in 1971. The original Boston Pride organization dissolved in 2021 amid calls for reform. Boston Pride For The People emerged to carry on the tradition.
